"Patient advocate Dr. Steve Young has helped me through two medical ‘issues’.  While I had confidence in the care I was receiving, Dr Young reinforced my feeling of well-being. My first concern was difficulty walking due to osteoarthritis in my hips and knees. Dr Young made appointments with both a geriatrician and an orthopedic surgeon for me.

When I was referred to a neurologist, because of possible complications, Dr Young talked to the neurologist on my behalf and asked questions I wouldn’t have considered. His explanation to me was easy to understand, calmed my fear, and assured me I’d be all right. This year I fell and broke my upper arm and rotator cuff.  Since my family is in NJ Dr. Young was my contact following surgery.  After talking to the surgeon he called my family and relayed the news I was OK.
